The Jiggery Jiggers

I wouldn't describe myself as a particularly excitable person. It's not often I get the jiggery jiggers about something. So when I tell you now that I am super excited about something, you can be sure that I really mean it! It hits me without warning and I just start chuckling to myself or waving my arms or doing a little jig. When I was sweet sixteen, I described the feeling as 'having the jiggery jiggers' and even drew examples of these little creatures with springs for arms and legs....

Big changes are ahead of me and I am EXCITED.

This year I have decided to make up for lost time by having multiple new year resolutions, which are... 1) Learn Indonesian! It appears to be a simple language to learn the basics of, and my kids love it when I tell them what words I have learned, so I have no excuse not to learn it. 2) Read at least two books each month, one for pleasure, one for work-related research. 3) Practice yoga every day. I could easily just bend over a...
